State Support for Family Houses Insulation

A State contribution for the insulation of houses is provided up to  30% of eligible costs(max. 6,000 euros), plus extra 500 euros for an energy audit. The higher energy saving, the more money is issued to the applicant.

Green for Households

Impact
  • Forecast to lead to installation of 15,000 renewable energy systems

Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA) is administrating a grant project for households that will use European funds and the state budget to support installations of small devices for renewable energy in houses and apartment buildings. It is estimated to run until 2020. The grant will supply a maximum of 50% of the cost of the installation bill. A pilot national project is earmarked at €45 million, which should help install more than 15,000 systems for renewable energy.

Integrated Regional Operational Programme

The main objective of the Operational Programme (OP) is contribution to the promotion of quality of life and to ensure sustainable provision of public services across the country. One of the funding priorities is also improvement of energy performance of residential and public buildings. Support will be provided to projects of renovation of buildings containing energy saving measures designed above the minimum requirements for energy efficiency of buildings according to generally binding legal regulations, so as to decrease the energy demand to the level of low-energy buildings, ultra-low-energy buildings and nearly zero-energy buildings.Funded by ERDF: 1,754,490,415.00 € (6,35% for EE).
